| Artist's Statement |
On his work:
"I’m drawn to the surroundings I see and feel in everyday life. My work comes from nature and from my soul. Color, light and texture come together forming different emotions and feelings. Gestures and marks are made to express my feelings. My inspiration is linked to directness and methods to transform felt experience into visual fact. The work is unpremeditated; always fresh and always new. It doesn’t matter so much how my painting looks; it’s how it feels that’s important."
